RENTING OR OWNING A HARP:

If you do not already own a harp, the Center is willing to offer suggestions on what would be the best harp for your needs and where it can be rented, if necessary.

For smaller children, “Lap Harp” Models are  suggested, such as the Sharpsicle made by William Reese Instruments.  For tall children, Teenagers, and Adults a larger harp would suggested, preferably 34 strings, light string tension, and folk string spacing, such as the Thormahlen Ceili and Ceili Mor models or the Camac Janet, Hermione, and Aziliz models.

If you wish to have advice on what harp may be the best choice, please don’t hesitate to contact the Heritage Harp Center.
